The Studio.

WERKHALT is a small leather goods studio based in Düsseldorf. We are starting with one piece, then a second. We are not in a hurry.

We make a small number of pieces. We choose materials we can explain. We design objects that can be repaired instead of replaced.

Every piece is designed to feel considered. Honest in material. Simple in form. Useful in daily life. Nothing unnecessary. Nothing loud.

This is a small beginning, built slowly and thoughtfully.
